From the Desk of a Visionary

MD's Message

Life on farm is a school of patience — you cannot rush the growth of a crop, or make an ox plough in two days. Growing up with such valuable lessons from my family, I have lived through the hardships of a farmer myself. Farming is one of the most challenging, yet among the most noble professions in the world. The farmer, with his hard work, draws life on the canvas of Mother Earth — feeding thousands without being partial.

Instantly, the words that flash before my eyes are “Farming with Passion” — passion to succeed, passion to feed, passion for a better tomorrow, passion to “Make in India.”

If a country's agriculture grows, the country itself climbs the growth ladder. I would like to focus on agriculture with a sustainable approach — India is known for its Green Revolution, but one leg that was never given the same enthusiasm was farm mechanization. We increased productivity with better seeds and fertilizers, setting an example other nations could follow, but mechanization has stayed limited to soil preparation and sowing. Only a handful of farmers have stretched to the next level — harvesting and post-harvest processing. Once we achieve complete mechanization, our productivity will reach a new high, and we will take a real step closer to a sustainable future.

Now you may wonder — machines need power to run, and that power is currently drawn from fossil fuels, which seems at odds with a sustainable, green future. But new technologies like bio-diesel and hydrogen-cell powered machines are no longer a dream. On that very path lies my vision: to build such machines for a better future. It brings a deep sense of pride to see that same commitment shared across the entire Preet family.
